Screen used in the 2010 Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland this is the hero Oraculam. Inspired by the English author Lewis Carroll’s 1865 fantasy novel “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and its 1871 sequel “Through the Looking-Glass”, Nineteen-year-old Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) is told that she can restore the White Queen to her throne because she is the only one who can slay the Jabberwocky; a dragon-like creature that is controlled by the Red Queen and terrorizes Wonderland’s inhabitants. The Oraculum being the calendrical compendium of Wonderland is an ancient parchment scroll containing an ever-changing history, which reveals the past, present and future of Wonderland. Being featured multiple times throughout the film, A few of the days discussed include: “Griblig Day” which is the day Alice ventured into Wonderland and getting chased by the Bandersnatch shortly after meeting some of the inhabitants of Wonderland. “Horovendoush Day” which is the day the Red Queen took control of Wonderland (shown during the Mad Hatter’s flashback), and “Frabjous Day” which defines the final clash between the White and Red Queen’s forces along with Alice reigning as the White Queen’s champion when she slays the Jabberwocky.
