Three decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a new threat arises. After the Battle of Endor, a variant of the Galactic Empire’s Stormtrooper would exist under the auspices of the First Order. From Episode VII, this hero screen used Stormtrooper F-11D blaster can be seen in the hands of the Stormtroopers when battling against the Resistance. One of twenty made for the film, this fully functional blaster lights up and appears on screen as a firing weapon once the visual effects are added in post-production. Made with plastic, metal and LED components, this blaster and the others like it were used during close up filming and during scenes when the intricate details of the weapon could easily be seen.
