A clapperboard and production manual with a handwritten character list from the production of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Orphan Rey (Daisy Ridley) learned about the Force while the galaxy was under siege by First Order leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). This lot consists of one acrylic clapperboard featuring vinyl decals for Abrams and director of photography Dan Mindel, hand markings, and the film’s codename “AVCO,” after the Avco Theater in Westwood, CA where Abrams first watched the original Star Wars on opening day; one black vinyl folder with a yellow “VII” vinyl decal on the front and contains a 29-page production manual with minor handwritten annotations; and a handwritten character list, included in the folder, highlighting some of the codenames such as “Pilot – Han,” “Queen – Leia,” “Original Warrior – Luke,” “Kira – Rey,” and “Tall Guy – Chewbacca.”
