Scream 3 is a 2000 American slasher film created by Kevin Williamson, directed by Wes Craven and written by Ehren Kruger. Scream 3 takes place three years after Scream 2 and follows the character of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) who has gone into self-imposed isolation following the events of the previous two films. This is a screen used “Ghostface” mask used in the film during the reshoots portrayed by a stunt man. This mask unlike any other store bought masks has multiple alterations the production needed during filming of certain scenes. Considering the age of the mask, it was found in remarkable condition being it was originally stored out of sunlight and has virtually no yellowing. This is a rare opportunity to own such an iconic mask from another one of Wes Craven’s successful franchises’. Along with a Hollywood History COA this mask will also include a plaque stand seen in the pictures for display.
