When a group of explorers go in search of a yeti, they find themselves taken captive by an ancient race of alien creatures. From the 2023 stop motion film The Primevals, this is one of the screen used 6″ scale half body lizardmen puppets. Versions such as this would be used when the lizardman puppets would not be seen waist down, saving the production time and money. Produced by Charles Band of Full Moon Features along with co-writer and director David Allen; the film project was a mixture of both passion and determination for Allen. Though he had been working on the production for a large part of his life, David passed away in 1999 with much work left to be done before completion. Left in the hands of David’s close friend Chris Endicott, he worked tirelessly on the massive undertaking finally completing it posthumously for Allen after over 50 years in development. The puppet is in overall great condition with wear on his fingers from heavy usage during animating.
