As the central prop in the film, this is an original -Cursed Aztec Gold Coin- from the hit movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Starring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom. This coin is double skull sided verses the hero version where one side features a skull-and-sun symbol and the reverse displays an Aztec glyph. This version was used in the chest scene where it was needed to show more coins with the skull and sun side facing up. The coin is made of a cast metal which has been plated in gold.
