This is a production used Jack Skellington head made for and used in the production of Tim Burton’s animated classic “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Made of resin, the animators would use different Jack heads on the Jack puppet when different facial expressions were needed and can be seen in different scenes throughout the film. This head also includes the metal fixture on the bottom that the creators used to support the head while they worked on sculpting and painting each individial head. A very recogniazble character from a Tim Burton classic stop motion film.
