This is an original Rohan Axe from 2002 film, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. While Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron’s new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard. This Axe, made of a wood handle and resin Axe head, was used in the second and third films of The Lord of the Rings: Trilogy. This axe was used predominately in the battles to defend Helm’s Deep of Rohan and Minas Tirith of Gondor, but can also be seen throughout the last two films.
