Labyrinth

Stunt Goblin Club

A stunt Goblin Club used in the 1986 David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly classic Labyrinth. The cruel and ugly goblins can be seen carrying this style of club throughout the movie inside Jareth’s (David Bowie) labyrinth, where he has stolen Toby away in response to the rash wish of the big sister Sarah. This prop is crafted from a light foam rubber with a rigid internal support to hold it in shape, and the head is shaped to resemble an agressive horned skull painted metallic gray sat atop a rod with fauz rivets and a leather bound grip. This lightweight soft version of the weapon would have been used whenever there was a lot of action on screen and too dangerous to use the solid prop. It measures 24″ x 13.5″ and is in very good condition for it age with some slight cracking to the paint, some of which would have occured due to being used on set.
