This wand was used by the character Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) in the third installment of the series, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” (2004). In the film, Harry’s wand is eleven inches long and made of holly. Its core is made of Dumbledore’s Phoenix Fawkes’ tail feather. It was crafted by the wand maker Ollivander, who had also crafted a twin wand from yew and the only other feather that particular phoenix ever gave. This twin wand chose Tom Marvolo Riddle as its wielder. Riddle, under the alias of Lord Voldemort, would later use this wand to attack Harry and his parents. The two wands, sharing the same phoenix origin, have a unique connection which prevents them from successfully dueling against each other. Wands are one of the most collectible items from the series and are often easily recognizable when the films are released. This iconic wand of the famous wizard Harry Potter was made and molded using hard resin/plastic.
