From the 1988 Tobe Hooper pilot episode of Freddy’s Nightmares: No More Mister Nice Guy, this is Freddy’s Dentist glove seen when medically-induced high cop creepily envisions the dental assistant in her underwear before passing out, at which point the sexy nurse turns into Freddy. He then exacts his gruesome revenge when his bladed fingers transform into crude dental tools. Having an LOA from the glove’s maker Ryan Effner; this screen matched hero glove was the only one made for the scene and still has all the wiring along with the control box that controls the finger tools. Freddy’s Nightmares pilot episode is an incredibly important piece of the Elm Street puzzle, and to date the best exploration of Freddy’s origin story that we’ve yet seen.
