A croquet stake used in Patrick Lussier’s direct-to-DVD vampire sequel Dracula III: Legacy. Five years after the events of Dracula II: Ascension, Father Uffizi (Jason Scott Lee) hunts down Dracula (Rutger Hauer) to a castle in the mountains of Romania. This stake, made from a croquet marker, was used by the vampire hunter Luke (Jason London) at the beginning of the film to appear as having stabbed one of the vampires. The piece is made of wood with six colored rings painted at the top and shorted with a base to attach one the actor to make the scene appear the stake was stabbed into him. Well used on the production, the piece shows signs of wear including some light damage to the wood.
