Boober and Wembley Fraggle Muppets

The fertile imagination of Jim Henson spawned this colorful puppet program that was not only an international hit during the 1980s, but remains a much-loved favorite of viewers to this day. This series for both the young and young at heart follows the adventures of the Fraggles, a race of short, furry creatures living a carefree existence in a complex network of magical caves. These are Boober and Wembley Fraggle Muppet’s from Jim Henson Studios on a custom Fraggle Rock themed display with a hard at work Doozer.

Boober Fraggle does not like fun and games and spends most of his time worrying about doom and disease. Because of his fears, he is very knowledgeable about health and superstition along with having a lucky charm for just about anything. Aside from his friends, there are only two things in life that Boober is very fond of; laundry and cooking. Boober is much like a Cave Fraggle, often hanging out with Wembley Fraggle and is allergic to dogs.

Wembley is the youngest Fraggle of the group, often cheerful and energetic, but also very insecure. He usually agrees with everybody at the same time because he hates to argue. Wembley never seems to make up his mind even when deciding which shirt to wear, although he owns only two which are identical. Wembley shares a room with his best friend Gobo Fraggle, loves to play the bongos and works as a siren for the Fraggle Rock Volunteer Fire Department. Wembley is allergic to laundry lint, cave cotton, rock dust, bonkleberries and was named after the Wembley Stadium.
