Blade (Wesley Snipes) half-vampire, half-mortal man becomes a protector of the mortal race, while slaying evil vampires. Blade added hidden blades inside the hilt of his sword that would cut off the fingers of anyone unfortunate enough to pick it up. This sword handle was modified to extend and retract the blades hidden within.
