The Rodger Young was the most important model created by Thunderstone. Everything that happens in the movie revolves around this ship and the others based on her design. This design required more versions and sizes than any other model in the movie.There were 8 Rodger Young’s made as 18″ models. They were created filmed as minatures for many sequences, including the ones over planet Klendathu.

The piece is made from cast resin and has painted grey and is complete with tiny little details such as various dropship bays, gangways, radio towers, intricately modelled engines and walkways. Includes letter from Production Supervisor for the Models and Miniatures Unit on Starship Troopers detailing its use.
