Nighthawk Stake

Buffy the Vampire Slayer starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and Anthony Stewart Head is the critical and fan hit created by Joss Whedon and premiered in 1997. When Whedon wrote the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer back in 1992, he wasn't able to produce it in a way that matched his vision. With the television show he's gotten much more creative freedom and the fans get the benefit. Critics and fans alike agree that Buffy is one of the best-written shows on television. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was on for seven seasons before the show ended. This original wooden "Nighthawk" stake is used by Xander, Buffy, and Faith in Season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The name of the stake comes from Xander's code-name, "NightHawK", which he used in the episode. The stake is made of wood and wood stain. The stake is about 12 inches long.
