From the 2014 Laika stop motion film The Boxtrolls based on the children’s novel “Here Be Monsters”,  these are screen used face plates used on the of  stop motion puppets of Fish and Shoes. The young orphaned boy known as Eggs has been raised by these underground cave-dwelling cheese loving Boxtrolls, both face plates are displayed in cardboard box style frames.
