The 2014 Laika stop motion film The Boxtrolls (based on the children’s novel “Here Be Monsters”) centers around a young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling cheese loving trash collectors. This is a beautifully decorated dining table piled with cheese screen used in the banquet scene of the film. With cheese being so important to the characters, its seen throughout the film and this particular handmade prop can also be found in the book The Art of Boxtrolls by Phillip Brotherton (page 148).
