Friday the 13th Part IX- Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

Jason Voorhees’ (Kane Hodder) Machette

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday is a 1993 slasher film, the ninth—and, as the title suggests intended to be the final—installment in the Friday the 13th film franchise. The secret of Jason’s evil is revealed and it’s up to the last remaining descendant of the Voorhees’ family to stop Jason before he becomes immortal and unstoppable. Jason Voorhees first appears as a hallucination of the main character Alice (Adrienne King) in the original Friday the 13th film; he becomes the main antagonist of the series in its sequels. As well as the films, there have been books and comics that have either expanded the universe of Jason, or been based on a minor aspect of him. This is a machette used by Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) during filming. This machette has a metal blade with a handle made of plastic, with small dents towards the pointed end from usage on set. This machette was used during the scene when he is about to kill a woman (undercover FBI agent Elizabeth Marcus), and the FBI springs a trap. After gunning him down they launch a grenade and Jason gets blown to pieces. Along with a Hollywood History COA, paperwork from the actor portraying Jason Voorhees; Kane Hodder will be included. This is a recognizable piece from the Friday the 13th franchise and used by a horror icon.
