An original screen used stop motion puppet featured in the 2012 Aardman stop motion film, The Pirates! Band of Misfits (Known in the UK as: The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!) This puppet, known as The Pirate with a Scarf or Number Two, is in his Scientist disguise.   Voiced by Martin Freeman, this puppet can easily be seen throughout the Scientist of the Year competition. The outfit has been created from foam latex and his skin is silicon with a small amount of plasticine around his eyes and eyebrows, so to allow the puppeteers to change his expression as needed. He is entirely posable via the intricate internal steel armature, and also features an interchangeable mouth attached to the face with a small magnet. He is in excellent condition considering the usage during animating and measures approx. 12.5″ tall x 4″ at the widest point.
