The rat, often seen as a symbol of disease and decay helps make it a fitting symbol showing the evil and corruption resulting from bringing things back to life. From the 1989 horror classic Pet Sematary,  this is Church the Cat’s screen matched Rat. This rat can be matched to the one used during the bathroom scene and was later confirmed to have been the only one made.
