A fully mechanical Kaiju Skinmite from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. When Newton Geiszler (Charlie Day) and Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) visit the carcass of a fallen Kaiju, this little bug can be seen wiggling and squirming as a scavenger grabs it from the Kaiju skin and places it in a box.
